YEARLY EVENTS

CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Held in early October, this 2-day event allows the students to display their creative side. They set up food stalls, game rooms, art displays, put on mini-plays, dances and show off their garage-band talent.

SPORTS DAY

Held in late September, this 1-day event pits the classes in the different years against each other in mainly track and field events. Of course, teachers are not exempt from participation.

TEMPLE VISITS

On roughly the 15th day of every month, all students and teachers must attend prayers in the Temple. Special visits include Shinran Shonin's birthday on May 21st and the Flower Festival in June.

SPECIAL LECTURES

Held twice a year, these lectures/visits are made by high-profile personnas in various industries, but mainly by those involved in the arts and education. Singers, dancers, novelists, athletes, professors and the like visit the students to share their experiences, display their talent and hopefully motivate the students into achieving personal goals.

FIELD TRIPS

In April and October, students and teachers go on a 1-day filed trip for rest and relaxation. Venues include amusement parks, miniature world and other like-minded sites.
